Dunadd
- capital of the Kingdom of Dalriada established during
the 5th century by Fergus mor mac Eric, a Scot or Scotti,
from County Antrim. From this centre the Scotland as we know it
was born.
Dunadd Self Catering Holiday Accommodation
is situated at the foot of Dunadd Hill (site of a 5th century fort)
4 miles north of Lochgilphead in Mid-Argyll, Scotland.
The accommodation consists of 2 comfortable cottages that have been
recently converted from farm buildings.
The Cottages 'Comgall' and 'Gabran' were named
after kin of Fergus mor mac Eric.
'Comgall' is the larger of the two and can house
up to 4 people and is suitable for wheelchair access. 'Gabran'
is slightly smaller although is on two levels and can sleep 2-3
people
