Comgall Cottage 24th to 27th July 2018
Had a most enjoyable stay in this spotless, comfortable and spacious cottage, well situated with the River Add just a few yards from the door.
Well equipped kitchen with many little extras supplied eg kitchen roll, washing up liquid and washing powder not to mention a good sized freezer - very handy for a longer stay.
Lesley and Ewan friendly and welcoming hosts and we shall be returning for another visit in October.

Old Cheese Loft 17th -20th April 2018
We had 4 days of fabulous walking along the Crinan Canal ( both ways) and walks in Kilmartin glen, lots to see and do in an area we haven't been before. Looks like we will be back next year. The Old Cheese Loft is perfect for a couple with everything you need for your stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and the setting is lovely and quiet.

Perfect winter break
I was delighted to enjoy a weeks walking in February, staying at Gabran. The location looks like something out of Lord of the Rings and the history and walking in the area are stunning. This cottage is on the DalRiada Trail and near many beautiful walks in natural woodlands and with coastal views.

The cottage itself is spotless, warm and comfortable. The new owners are very friendly and helpful. The weather here was kinder that some other areas making it ideal for a February getaway. Lots of snowdrops in various places nearby. I will definitely be back!

Spent 4 days in this cosy cottage using it as a base whilst visiting family locally. Excellent position for a country break and we enjoyed exploring this part of Argyll immensely. We would happily stay again especially as we can bring our dogs too; they particularly enjoyed fishing sticks out of the river!

In the middle of everything
We thought, we would stay in the middle of nowhere, but it turned out, we were privileged to stay in the middle of everything. The Old Cheese Loft is a neat, little house on a farm, furnished with a lot of love and care. The perfect place to enjoy really relaxed holidays. At night, it's so quiet, you can almost hear the sheep snoring on the fields around the farm. The bed and the sofa are super comfy and the kitchen is really well equiped. We also appreciated the heating ;-) There is a small river running in front of the house (the best view ever, while cooking!) and almost in the backyard is one of the most important archaeological sites of Scotland: The hill with Dunadd Fort. The Fort is long gone, but the view is amazing! Margaret and Tim are really nice and caring hosts and made us feel welcome right away. A really special experience during our stay was the feeding of the little lambs! Thank you so much for that and for everything else! Gabi & Chris
PS: Don't miss all the great hiking trails, that start just around the farm and please throw that old tennis ball for the cute farm dog Fern!
